MOW – The Photo Shoot.

Hello Beautiful people. Hope you’re all enjoying this amazing weather? I can’t believe it, it’s so nice.

My weekend consisted of the following ……. 3 amazing scrumptious BBQ’s (First one in the UK for 5 years!!), Housewarming party, crazy children, random night out, T.V. Extra job applications, tons of scary lesbians and the semi final of the Voice. All on one weekend. I’m quite impressed with myself. What did you all get up to?

Today’s post is my very own MOW photo shoot which was created a couple of months ago, but never got round to showing the photos to you guys (which I hope you like).

Above is the scene of where the shoot was taken (A Kitchen – which I’ll explain in due course) – As this was my first photo shoot I wanted to create something a little different to others as I believe a photo shoot should describe who you are so others can see your work and what you can create.

The reason the location was a kitchen is because when we thought of the name Oliver (Not my real name) I thought of Jamie Oliver (Who I love by the way) and how he is in the kitchen cooking. For this shoot I wanted to create a scene with the items you would see at a wedding with me cooking them – I’m cooking a wedding!!

As you can see from the above photos I was very much enjoying myself.

It was very easy to create actually as all I needed to do was collect the items and design what I wanted.  Everything you see in the photo has a vintage spin to it. That’s what I wanted to create as I love the vintage feel at the moment; even though it is everywhere and you see a lot of it used at weddings. The reason I like it is because not only does the products/items have class and sophistication you actually feel you’re in the era you have created (well I do).

Here are a few more photos…………….

I particularly enjoyed this shoot because I got to make my very first bouquet (see below). For those of you who don’t really know me I love flowers and if I weren’t a wedding planner I would be a florist as there is so much creativity, it’s like creating a major art piece.

So all in all it was a success for me and I got the photos I wanted. I’m sure you will see them dotted around the net for advertising etc.

Obviously I had some help with all this the ever talented Mr James Bates for his creative photography skills (as you all can see). The beautiful Sarah Bates for lending me her gorgeous products from Britten and my fantastic Mother for letting me use her wedding photos and all the little tea sets and vases.
